Therefore, we consistently study human body measurements, sitting postures, or motion behaviors to more accurately assess chair size and fitting flexibility.

Size & Measurements

People come in different heights, sizes, and weights because of gender, age, or ethnicity. As the FAA and BIFMA suggest, this makes the “5th percentile female to the 95th percentile male” range the universal basis for chair design practices.

And according to the ergonomic design textbook of City University of Hong Kong, this range can accommodate up to 95% of the population.

Sitting -
A Dynamic Activity

We sit in different ways, tend to sit longer, and may need to reach, recline, sidle, or more. So a good seated posture should offer natural, seamless position changes and cause less stress on the body. This often requires a wider motion range for the chairs.

To achieve this level of easiness and accommodate as broad a population as possible, our engineers design for an adjustable range.
We refer to the BIFMA standards or go beyond based on our users’ general preferences and physical needs.

In designing Kaiser 3, while its most measurements stick to the standard, we built its seat deeper and the backrest higher and wider to accommodate user needs for leisure comfort and flexibility.

    Magnetic Memory Foam Headrest

    By observing thousands of users' sitting habits, we found that people prefer adjusting chair headrests without sitting up or turning back. To make this easier, we introduced a snap-on magnetic attachment system. Featuring high-performance magnets, AndaSeat magnetic headrests provide a firm grip and accommodate a wider range of heights with a flexible 20cm up-down attachment range.

    The hourglass-like shape makes the headrest fit naturally with your head, neck, and upper traps muscle curves. With 65kg/m3 density, its soft memory foam soothes your neck, while the cooling gel layer keeps the neck cooler in hot conditions.

    Cold-cure Molded Foam

    To deliver optimal comfort and durability, we mold our chair's seat and back cushions with high-density cold-cure foam.

    Using computer-aided mixing and injecting processes, we precisely control the liquid foam's density, weight, and curing temperature in an aluminum mold. The mold shapes the foam into exact forms that comfortably fit our bodies while maintaining its cellular structure for ultimate elasticity and softness. This makes the AndaSeat chair's cushions exceptionally lightweight, durable, and comfortable.

    Multi-function Tilt Mechanism

    Reclining can help us relax spinal or back fatigue from extended sittings. In reclined positions, the action of tilting, and sometimes rocking, exponentially increases the tilt mechanism’s load pressure, demanding maximum strength and durability.

    Forged with high-performance aluminum alloy and steel, the multi-function tilt mechanism in Kaiser 3 and our other best-selling chairs is impressively heavy-duty and supports up to 260lbs in all postures. We also used ceramic and electrophoretic coating processes during its construction to improve their corrosion and scratch resistance, enhancing durability over time

    Rugged Class 4 Gas Lift

    For comfortable seating, it is essential to keep our feet flat on the floor and knees at an angle between 90° and 110°. This posture helps reduce pressure on the spine, thighs' back, and hip bones.

    To make this posture accessible for a wide range of body heights and weights, we use Class 4 gas lifts on every AndaSeat chair. They provide 6.5cm to 10cm smooth, precise height adjustment depending on the models. And with SGS certification, they deliver exceptional durability and safety.

    Stain-resistant Durable Leather

    Stains, discoloration, cracking, or even safety issues frequently arise in regular leather upholstery. And we work tirelessly to address these challenges in our chairs. 


    During the development of Kaiser 3, the AndaSeat engineering team spent over 180 days testing various leather types and developed our latest ArteDiPelle synthetic leather. Processed with a patented technique in certified manufacturing facilities, it is extremely resistant to stains and easy to clean. Complying with rigorous OEKO-TEX and RoHS standards, its solvent-free formula ensures a healthy and high-quality living space

    Breathable Linen Fabric

    Heat can build up easily while gaming, whether from your device, intense play, or hot weather. AndaSeat gaming chairs can keep you cool in these situations with linen fabric upholstery.

    To enhance the chair's heat management, we've selected exceptionally absorbent and breathable 3D weave linen fabric. With a computer-controlled density of 346g/m², it’s 73% stronger than regular 200g/m² fabric, providing extra durability and S-tier comfort.

    Relentlessly Tested

    From top to bottom, every chair undergoes rigorous, scientific testing for standard-leading durability and stability. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and durable experience, no matter how you play.

    • Seating Durability Test

      A 50kg (110lbs) weight falls onto the seat center for 100,000 cycles.

    • Armrest Durability Test

      A force of 400N repeatedly applied to the armrests for 60,000 cycles.

    • Backrest Durability Test

      Pulled for 120000 cycles with a force of 333 N (35kg).

      • Drop Test

        A 50kg (110lbs) weight falls onto the seat center for 100,000 cycles.

      • Base Load Test

        A force of 11,132 N (1,136kg) is applied to the chair base for 1 minute.

      • Packaging Drop Test

        Dropped from 1m height for 10 times. (1 time for each face and corner).
